Exterminating Poverty: The incredible true story of the eugenic plan to get rid of the poor and the Scottish doctor who fought against it tells the story of the 1920’s legal battle between Dr Halliday Sutherland and Dr Marie Stopes. My research into the organisation that bears her name today and occupies the site of her second clinic at 108 Whitfield Street, London, led me to uncover MSI’s unconventional source of funds which was reported in the Mail on Sunday.
