Halliday Sutherland

"A born writer, especially a born story-teller. Dr. Sutherland, who is distinguished in medicine, is an amateur in the sense that he only writes when he has nothing better to do. But when he does, it could hardly be done better." G.K. Chesterton.

Interview

I was delighted to be interviewed by Phelim McAleer for The Ann and Phelim Scoop and to have the opportunity to discuss Exterminating Poverty: The true story of the eugenic plan to get rid of the poor and the Scottish doctor who fought against it.

The Scoop is hosted by Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer, a husband and wife team who are film makers (documentaries and feature films), journalists and best-selling authors (Amazon and New York Times). I have been following their work for a number of years now, and was initially attracted by their journalistic integrity and their fearlessness in seeking the truth behind a story.

You can view the interview below (it starts at the 28 minutes and 40 seconds), though I would recommend you watch the whole show to get a flavour of their work.
